Becoming a Member

Though we offer many of the same products and services, credit unions are fundamentally different from any other type of financial institution.

Organized to serve individuals with a specific common bond such as the place where you live or work, every credit union serves a specific field of membership and has specific eligibility requirements. Because of this reason, we are able to gain a thorough understanding of our members' needs. With this knowledge, we are also able to provide an unsurpassed level of service and dedication to the communities that we serve.

By offering great rates on savings and loan products, and by offering great member service, we have grown to become one of the largest credit unions in the area.

Membership is a Lifetime Benefit
Once you join IC Federal Credit Union, you're a member for life. This means that even if you move outside of our field of membership, you can still maintain your membership benefits with IC Federal Credit Union.

IC Federal Credit Union's field of membership includes all persons having the following common bond:

  • Individuals who LIVE OR WORK, in Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, Middlesex, Norfolk, and Worcester Counties in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Also included are:

  • Organizations of Members;
  • Members who cease to live or work within the geographic field of Membership, but who maintain their Membership accounts may remain Members indefinitely.
